🚀 Quick Start
New to Gwajee? Here's the 60-second version.
How do I host my first game?+
Go to Host, pick a mode (Manual, Hybrid AI, or Full AI), set the time per question, add or generate your questions, then share the game code or QR with your players. When everyone's in the lobby, click Start.
How do players join?+
Players open the home page, tap Join, enter your game code (or scan the QR shown on your screen/stream), pick a nickname and avatar, and wait in the lobby. They all start together when you hit Start.
What's the difference between the three host modes?+
Manual (Free) — you type questions and answers. Hybrid AI (Creator) — you type the question and AI writes the multiple-choice answers. Full AI (Institution) — AI generates both questions and answers from a topic.
🧑🏫 For Teachers
How do students join my class?+
Open Teacher → Classrooms, open a class, and generate a class join code. Students enter that code on their student dashboard to link their account — which also unlocks Student Basic access for free under your plan.
Can I import my PowerPoint or PDF?+
Yes — Teacher → Import. Upload a .pptx or .pdf and Gwajee turns each slide/page into quiz questions. Image-heavy decks (diagrams, screenshots) are read with AI vision automatically. You can edit the questions, then Save as a Set or Host now.
How do I reuse questions?+
Save any generated or manual set under Teacher → Sets (Question Sets). You can host a saved set anytime, tag it by subject/category, and share it.
Where are student results?+
Teacher → Reports shows game results; remediation results from private quiz links flow back into the report so you can see who needs review.
🎓 For Students
What can I do with a free student account?+
Join games by code, practice solo, take remediation quizzes, and try a few AI practice sets each month. Student Basic adds the full study library; Student Premium adds interactive courses, BodyLab, an AI tutor, exam-prep, and more AI practice.
I'm in a class — do I still pay?+
No. If you join your teacher's class with their code (or your school is licensed), Student Basic is covered for free. Premium is an optional personal upgrade.
How does AI practice work?+
On your student dashboard, type a topic and Gwajee builds a quick quiz and drops you into solo practice. Each plan has a monthly limit (Free 5, Basic 50, Premium 500).
📚 Studying, Courses & Library
Where to find and study content.
Resource Library vs. Personal Library — what's the difference?+
Resource Library is a public, ready-made bank of question sets you can browse, add to your own library, or load straight into a game (Educator and up). Personal Library is YOUR private space — your own question sets and your Saved Images & Media — that only you add to and remove from.
How do I use the Interactive Nursing Course?+
Open Resources & Courses → Nursing → Interactive Nursing Course. Pick a subject (Anatomy & Physiology, Med-Surg, Pharmacology, …), then a topic (e.g. Cardiovascular), then a content type from the menu — Question Sets, Lessons, Flashcards, Notes — to see the matching content.
What is Study Buddy?+
Study Buddy is an AI coach that teaches you HOW to reason through a question — the cues, the framework, and why each option is right or wrong — not just the answer. It's a Premium feature (owner, Educator and up, and Student Premium).
How does the Dosage Coach work?+
In Study Buddy, open the 🧮 Dosage Coach. It gives you a dosage problem and works it with you ONE step at a time — it checks both your math and your reasoning, nudges you when you're off, and only moves on when each step is solid. Pick a problem type or paste your own.
👥 Study Groups
How do I start a study group?+
Teacher → Group Study. Choose what to study — your own sets, the Resource Library, reading/flashcards, or generate a quick quiz with AI — then share the join code or link. You get a live monitor showing everyone's progress in real time.
Do students need an account to join a study group?+
No. Anyone with the join link/code can enter a nickname and study along — quizzes, flashcards, or reading — at their own pace. The join link stays the same until you close the group.
🔔 Question Reminders (notifications)
How do I get study questions sent to me?+
Open Notifications (linked from Study Buddy and the Resource Library). Pick a subject, question type, and how often, then enable. You'll get practice questions you can tap to answer.
Why isn't there a place to enter my phone number?+
Because these are browser notifications, not text messages — there's no phone number. They go to the exact device and browser where you turn them on. To get them on your phone, open the Notifications page ON your phone and enable it there (on iPhone, first Add Gwajee to your Home Screen).
📺 Streaming (TikTok / YouTube / OBS)
How do I show the game on my stream?+
Use the overlays — there's a full stream overlay, a transparent leaderboard, a TikTok vertical panel, and a classroom projector view. See the Stream Guide for OBS setup and exact sizes.
How do viewers join from a live stream?+
Show the QR code or game code on screen. Viewers scan/enter it on their phones and play along in real time while watching.
💳 Plans & Billing

Do schools get a discount?+
